The LMC collection of approx. 12,000 items is divided into the following main sections and resource types.

Print items:  Fiction collection from level 0 to 12 (in English, Swedish [marked with Swedish flag] and other languages): Fiction books, Chapter Books, Picture Books, My First Reading Books, Fairytales and stories.

  • Non-fiction collection [numbered according to Dewey Decimal System]: Child’s Early Learning Books, Reference section [In house use only], and International Collection of children’s books in different languages, Teachers’ Resources collection for staff, and Classroom library materials

Non-print items:

  • LMC is expanding a digital library with the same structure as for print items. Cassette books, Videos, DVDs and CD-ROMs will equip our digital section.  Databases, wireless Internet access as well as electronic tools like cameras and projectors will also be included.
